Incident Summary

The reporter states that they engaged with WebBots Creator , involving a payment of USD 75. I am submitting this complaint regarding my experience with a service/company operating under the name WebBots, which I discovered through a YouTube tutorial. I was looking for a way to create multiple Gmail accounts for a project. I found a YouTube video explaining how WebBots could automate the creation of multiple Gmail accounts. Based on that information, I visited the WebBots website and purchased their software/service. The company completed the initial order and delivered the software through a link sent to my email. I downloaded and installed the software and received an access key. However, after purchasing the software, I discovered that the advertised functionality could not be used without purchasing additional SMS services or credits from the company. I therefore made additional payments for SMS/credit services, including payments in U.S. dollars and cryptocurrency. My original intention was to create approximately 100 Gmail accounts, and I expected to spend approximately $10 on the SMS portion. Instead, I ultimately spent approximately $30 in additional payments while repeatedly attempting to make the system work. The total amount paid in connection with the service was approximately $75, although I do not currently recall the exact amount of every transaction and can provide available payment records. The primary problem was the company's credit system. After purchasing additional credits, the system continued to report that my balance was insufficient. At one point, the system appeared to require an extremely small additional amount of USDC represented by a very small decimal value. I was unable to purchase or transfer that precise amount through the normal payment methods available to me. I contacted the company's support team and explained that I had already paid for the software and additional credits and asked them to either apply my existing balance or resolve the balance discrepancy. The automated support responses did not address the problem. I subsequently contacted support representatives through Telegram and repeatedly explained the issue. Despite my requests for assistance, my messages were not meaningfully addressed. I also attempted to add additional funds, including approximately another $10, in an effort to satisfy the balance requirement. Despite these additional payments, the system continued to indicate that my balance was insufficient or otherwise prevented me from using the service I had already purchased. ### Concern Regarding the Payment/Credit System The credit system was particularly concerning because it did not appear to provide a straightforward fixed amount that could be purchased and immediately used. Instead, I repeatedly added funds but continued receiving insufficient-balance messages. The extremely small cryptocurrency discrepancy was especially problematic because I could not practically purchase or transfer the exact amount required for the system to recognize my balance. I cannot independently establish that this payment structure was intentionally designed to cause customers to make additional payments. However, based on my experience, I believe the company's credit and payment system should be investigated to determine whether other customers experienced similar problems. ### Customer Support I made repeated attempts to obtain assistance through the company's automated support system and later through Telegram. I explained that I had already paid for the software and additional SMS/credits but could not use the service because of the balance issue. I did not receive a meaningful resolution. The lack of effective customer support left me with no practical way to use the service I had purchased. ### Current Status The software remains installed on my laptop and/or other devices from the original purchase. I recently attempted to log into the system again while preparing this complaint, but my login credentials or access appear to have been deactivated. I therefore cannot currently access the service for which I paid. I have retained some or all of the relevant evidence, including payment records, order information, account information, software/access information, and communications with the company and its Telegram support representatives. ### Financial Loss My original intention was to spend approximately $10 on the SMS/Gmail-account creation portion of the service. Instead, I spent substantially more, with approximately $30 in additional payments and approximately $75 in total payments associated with the service, based on the records I currently recall. I do not want to provide inaccurate transaction figures, and I am willing to provide payment records to establish the exact amounts. ### Request for Investigation I am submitting this complaint because I believe my experience may involve deceptive or unfair business practices. I am particularly concerned that customers may purchase software believing that its advertised functionality is available, only to discover that additional SMS services or credits are required. I am also concerned about the credit system, which in my case repeatedly indicated that additional funds were required even after I made payments. I am not claiming that I personally have proof that the company intentionally designed the system to defraud customers. However, the repeated inability to use the service after making additional payments, unexplained balance requirements, cryptocurrency payment requirements, and failure of customer support raise concerns that I believe warrant investigation. I encourage investigators to examine whether other customers have experienced similar issues involving: * Purchasing the software but being unable to use its core functionality; * Being required to purchase additional SMS services or credits; * Receiving insufficient-balance messages after making payments; * Being required to make additional cryptocurrency payments; * Being unable to purchase the precise amount needed to satisfy the system; * Losing previously purchased credits or access; * Receiving inadequate or automated customer support; and * Having accounts subsequently deactivated. I am providing this report based on my own experience and the evidence I still possess. I respectfully request that the company's payment structure, credit system, advertised functionality, customer-support practices, and account-access policies be reviewed to determine whether other consumers may have experienced similar problems. I lost money attempting to use a service that I had already paid for, exceeded my original budget, made repeated good-faith attempts to resolve the issue, and ultimately did not receive the intended functionality or meaningful customer support.
