About Oyiwa

Oyiwa is infrastructure for better-informed digital trust. Before you buy an online course, hire a freelancer, subscribe to a service, or send money to an online business, you should be able to ask: who am I dealing with, and what should I know before I trust or transact with this entity?

We are not building a platform for internet vigilantism, and we are not a database of criminals. A report submitted to Oyiwa is a claim, not a verdict. We separate user reports, platform-reviewed cases, public web intelligence, and official records — and we label each one clearly, with sources you can inspect yourself.

Oyiwa combines user-submitted incident reports, public web intelligence, AI-assisted extraction and summarization, entity resolution across identifiers, structured case management, an evidence and redaction pipeline, and human moderation. Every AI-generated statement is traceable to either a user's own report or a specific, attributed source — never invented.

The platform is designed to grow into a broader trust network connecting consumers, businesses, marketplaces, payment providers, lawyers, consumer organizations, NGOs, and regulators — but the MVP focuses on making a single search genuinely useful, from day one, even before our internal database has much data of its own.
